More NAHBS and maybe some riding weather

I've been out of biking for awhile as of late. Slowly getting over a bad cold/flu. Found some more nahbs photos.

Willits has some really cool rear fork designs. And how about the swoopy stays and eccentric rear dropouts from Wolfhound?! I need to design up some of my own in Solidworks sometime. Too bad time is always hard to come buy at the end of the semester.

Eccentric dropout? Weird.

Weird yes, but cool, definitely.

I've been doing some hand sketches, of rear seat stay mounts. I want to move the stay mount to the top tube instead of the seat tube. Also seen on the old GTs. But I want to have it curve into the top tube. Plus I want to mount it under the tube. Welding the stays on the side of the tube is a bad idea, the shear strength of the weld is very poor. I'll get them into CAD sometime and send them to ya.

Wow! That sounds cool. If I get any sort of skill at brazing, to quote a movie, "This could be the beginning of a..." You get the idea.

Very much so. Problem is, anytime I find some time to draw up some cool bike frame stuff, I end up going biking instead:) When do you head to UTI?

Supposed to be July, but I am actually moving to Salem in August, so I'm trying to move it back until after that. It would save me a lot of driving.

Salem, IA? Lets get a lot of rides in before ya go:)

Salem, Oregon. Thought about how it would be easy for you to email me designs, if this bike building thing sticks. But oh how bittersweet to only see pictures of your finished design.

Ditto to the riding.
