Fixie = beer, Roadie = nobeer

So how does this work? If you're a fixie rider, you're probly a beer connoisseur. If you're a roadie you're allergic to hops! But what about those of us who do both? I can have a few on our fixie ride on Tuesday, then go on some kind of beer fast so that I can have a more enjoyable ride on Thursday (5:30 @ Bike World). I guess I just enjoy complaining:) I'm glad I can afford both styles (not the fixie parts, the beer tab). It's just funny how the groups have such a closely related connection -> the freedom of 2 wheels -> and yet, each group's lifestyles are vastly different.

In roadie news, the tour has been surpisingly enjoyable to watch (I only catch it cause Versus reruns it a couple times a day). It's funny how, if you aren't a cyclist it's probably the most boring thing to watch. But if you're a cyclist, it's really exciting. The distance these guys cover day after day is more and more apparent. Not just their speed. I'm really focusing on these guy's position on their bikes. I figure if they can be somewhat comfy on those seats that we all have, I must be able to find a position that makes me as comfortable.

I'll be heading out of town cause I heard that my new bike is coming in to Lincoln today. I also gotta take care of some other things in Lincoln through Monday. Unfortunately I'll miss Cory's going away, sorry Cory. I'll catch you before you go, preferebly on bikes:) I'll probably be getting as many mountain rides as I can next week, I'll post here when/where.
