While I can't say I am getting a lot of miles in lately, I can proudly say that I never miss a day of commuting into campus. I took my Kona in today for a change with the 6-8 inches we got. Man was it fun to have the 29er wheels roll through the big snow drifts. I now have a serious need for a Karate Monkey single speed:) I'm sure I'll be gritting my teeth tomorrow and over the weekend with the below zero temps. It isn't too bad, but since I don't leave campus till 9 or 10 most nights, it gonna get pretty chilly. I'll need the baclava and Endura pants just for the few miles of commuting:) Gotta love Iowa.

Looks like that was a fun ride, wish I could have made it.
If you wanna brave it, I will be in Ames this weekend and am gonna do some riding.
Probably a gravel loop Saturday morning/midday until my feet give out.
man I dunno, it sounds bad this weekend, maybe cold advisories, i don't know if I have enough gear for that kind of cold. We'll see how bad it is, but I'm not betting on it right now
