Finally

Things have been extremely slow in developing, but finally my genetic algorithm has been applied to my geometric/cnc-machining problem. For the simple part seen in the previous post, the method solves for the best solution in the first "generation" of the algorithm. More complex parts, machining tools, etc... shouldn't take much longer. Pic shows it getting sets of angles for each of the "preferred angle" spit out on the console (pic), then each line below all that shows the best tool and angles combo, each line is a generation of testing about 30-50 different combination of calculations.

Ooh sounds like fun. I have class tonight though, and need to keep writing. In another week and a half or so I should be close to finishing this all up and will have gobs of time. Thanks for the offer, we'll get together to ride soon.
