Well it looks like they'll let me graduate finally. I did my oral exam this morning with my committee. One member couldn't make it, but had a sub fill in. So there might be some changes from him, but if not, I just get it submitted electronically with all the annoying formatting stuff, and get a hard bound copy and that should be it.
It looks like I'll be around for a good portion of the summer at least. One of my committee members has some summer work at the virtual reality center. So I'll be getting some hours there, and will possibly be getting a journal paper on my thesis topic with this guy. Then my plan is to write a proposal on some ideas I had, and if that goes somewhere and especially if it gets funding, I might stick around here and work on a PhD. But that's a big IF.
Long story short, I'll have plenty of ride time this summer, so I hope to catch a lot of you fellow bloggers, and we can take some more pics like the ones below.
