In Ames next weekend?

Hey Iowa folks. I got a friend who's getting married in Minneapolis next weekend. So instead of vying for an overpriced hotel in the city I thought I'd try to hit one of Pauls or someone else with a couch to spare. Wedding's saturday so I'd head out that afternoon, but if I go up that way, you know I'll have a bike with me:) So let me know if any of you blogger folks would trade a 6-pack and a ride for your couch for one night:)

Ug. Friday night is our school's homecoming and I have to work that night at the chili supper. You most certainly can stay over that night, but I won't be home until 8 or so that night. If that works let me know! I would love to have you over.

Also, 2 'cross races in the area that weekend, you should do one.

Oh man, I totally forgot you were up there Mario! How have ya been? Actually if you're going to be home this coming Saturday night that'd be the easiest for me. I'm just looking for a place to crash after the reception following this wedding. Is one of the races on Sunday? Cause if you could lend me a couch Sat. night i'd probly go to the race. I decide on racing depending on the fee, (and on how much fun the reception is). But it'd be fun to watch a race at least. I'll shoot you an email here to see what you have going on.

Hey Paul. Bummer on the timing. As you saw there, it's probly easiest if my friend Mario has a place for me to stay that Saturday night. Depending on what Mario's up to we might be able to catch a ride Sunday? Saturday I gotta be in MPLS before 6pm (and look presentable:)), so it'd be tough to leave Lincoln and get a ride in all on Saturday. Either way we should at least catch a beer on my way thru. Thanks again for the help, we'll figure somethin out.

Sorry dude, sorta fell out of checking your blog while you were dry with the posting...during your tripping. I like the lever, however, we made the shifter work for now. I will definitely be in touch if he ends up with a Red shifter to go along with the flat bar pod. We took pictures with the intent on putting the sad puppy face on an email to Sram.
