Dremels and Nail Polish

So last night I got some JP Wiegle's in this Trek frame I bought and got the stickers off. Then today I got into Skunk kinda late, so I didn't quite have enough time to bug those guys to get a headset in there for me. That's one thing I don't really need for tools. I wanted an STX headset. I ran over to Bike World, and they had a nice one. I was lucky they let me throw the headset in. My first threaded, it's such a better system than threadless. I need to figure out my BB width sometime, to see if I can use my current one. It looked like Skunk had a stem for me, and I hope they still have some of that Khaki Cinelli.

Over at Bike World, talkin to Marc and Tom, the idea came up to trim the cable routing off the frame. There was 3 on the top tube, and one weird one on the chainstay. So I got bold and dremmeled them off tonight. It turned out nice. I even buffed up the dropouts to bring the "Campagnolo" through. Stop by Gunnar's site and notice the similarity with their Stainless waterford dropouts. Then I got it sealed up with Nail Polish tonight, so that should slow any further rusting.

By far the best idea is from Marc. He was thinking of putting stickers covering the frame, all except for the lugs. Sort of a collage thing goin on. So I'm going to go ahead with it on the top tube, it'll cover up the dremmeled spots and the worst of the rust on it. So I'm taking sticker donations, preferrebly bike related:)

Cool. It'll be great to ride with you Paul. Thanks for the offer. But I've been wanting to try taking my Bontrager for a lap, then the Kona. So I think I'll just stuff those in my car. I'm sure Cory would take you up on a ride.

I will call him.

My rack can handle 4 bikes comfortably if you want a ride.
