Good engineering

Saw this on Guitar Ted's site, Siren bikes. I had been to their site before, but never noticed the flexplate pivot method:








That's darn good engineering. Ti has an awesome elongation value, how much it can bend but not break. Combine that with its lack of a fatigue limit, makes it a better choice than steel for this application. If you don't believe me, maybe you'll believe Scot Nicol.
