Two short rides

The regular Tuesday night fixie/SS ride was pretty nice this week. Cory, Emily and a bunch of other good folks came along. First it was Stomping Grounds for a beer, then we took off for an actual ride. This time we actually went quite a ways around town. The IRO was in good shape, and it was running well. All the people that came along road really well. We didn't really have any stragglers. Everyone got into sprinting a little bit on some fun sections of the ride. All in all, it was quite fun.

Then the only other ride I got in was last night, for a quick spin out to Ada Hayden on the Surly. I think it's really time to get a 29er mountain bike. I think at this end of this month I'll definitely be able to order one through Monkey Wrench. I'm trying to figure out when to give them a call. As long as they have some in stock it shouldn't take too long to get. I'll just have to swing down to Lincoln to pick it up. Mmm, I can smell that new bike smell already:)
