A real sand box.

So I headed out to Peterson last night. What a sand pit! I went to go have fun, and take a no-helmet relaxing ride on my Bontrager. Man, if you don't go fast through there, that sand just gets annoying. I still enjoyed it though, any early evening on a bike is great. About midway through, I said to myself "this is a real sand box, not only is there all this sand, but there's poop all over the place too, only this time, it's horse poo not baby poo!".

Other than that, one of the lamest 4ths I ever had. Just caught a little bit of the lame Ames Jaycees fireworks. Very slow and uneventful show unfortunately. I guess I'm used to the crazyness of Lincoln's fireworks. Sparklers just don't cut it for me!

I'm 50/50 about checking out the 5:30pm ride at Bike World tonight. I haven't been on it in a super long time because of the over-the-top competitive riding. But may go out and stay in the back of the pack tonight, we'll see how I feel. If anyone reading this is for sure going leave a comment, I might be more likely to go too.
